I got the soundboard finished off.

Trimming the f-holes
Brace material. This is from an old cupboard and has a lovely tone. I think it is yellow cedar.
Fitting the brace with chalk
I braced the back as it is far too thin in the middle. Really I should make a new back but that isn’t going to happen – at least until I find out whether the sound is basically ok.
Gluing the braces on with a collection of lumps of metal
Shaping back brace
Shaping top braces. They are 11.5mm high in the middle and around 5mm thick.
Ready to glue the top on
